FTS makes its point at Monza despite frustrating races

In the World Championship, Faster Than Speed had a frustrating, yet point-scoring race at Monza. Victor Ivanov, who replaced Patrick De Wit, showed excellent pace and looked set to score really strong points. Unluckily, a drive-through penalty for pitlane speeding plus a technical issue which obliged him to make an extra pitstop severely compromised his chances. As the fastest man on track in the closing stages, Victor was left wondering what could have been a top-5 finish. However, his efforts were rewarded with a point for 10th place after the post-race verifications.
Norbert Leitner, meanwhile, had a tough start, picking up damage and having a technical issue which dropped him to the back of the field in the first laps. From there, despite having to pit earlier than planned, he recovered well to finish right ahead of his team-mate. Unfortunately, Norbert missed out on scoring a point due to being unable to send his data for post-race verification.
