Round Review

A disappointing weekend at Shanghai

In the World Championship, it was a very short and disappointing race for Faster Than Speed at Shanghai. Patrick De Wit had to retire at the end of the opening lap after being hit from behind at the hairpin. Patrick tried to continue but the car was too badly damaged to do so. Team-mate Norbert Leitner, meanwhile, lost control of his car on lap 7 and ended his race on the barriers. It was definitely not the team's Sunday, we will be looking forward for better luck in Bahrain!

In the Ace division, despite good races from Mikko Suokas and Guillermo Prieto, our race strategy did not work as planned, leaving the drivers battling in heavy midfield traffic, losing time and picking up damage from contacts from behind. In a difficult race, Mikko and Guillermo, who set the fastest time in Q1, did well to finish in 9th and 12th places respectively.
