Round Review

Strong race from Patrick to finish 7th at Sepang

In the World Championship, it was a very strong race from Patrick De Wit to score some solid points for Faster Than Speed by finishing in 7th place. It was a spirited drive from Patrick with several overtaking moves and battles until the final lap. Norbert Leitner had a more difficult race, but still managed to finish in 16th place. It was an encouraging race for the team, fighting at the top despite the very low attrition rate, with just two retirements and 21 classified finishers.

In the Ace division, it was a case of mixed emotions for Guillermo Prieto, who drove a great race at Sepang but was severely compromised by having to serve a stop-and-go penalty for speeding in the pitlane. Guillermo recovered fantastically to finish in 8th place, but will be disappointed after having genuine chances to battle for a podium finish. Meanwhile, Thomas Mundy had a difficult evening on his first GP of the season, but still saw the checkered flag in 16th place.
