Patrick rescues first points of our 15th WC season, Mikko 5th on Ace debut

In the World Championship, Patrick De Wit scored the first points of Faster Than Speed's 15th FSR season after finishing a hard race in 9th place, setting the third fastest lap of the race in the closing stages. Norbert Leitner had an uphill race after having to pit for a new front wing on lap 3, but recovered well to see the checkered flag in 13th place with a damaged car.

In the Ace division, it was a great Ace debut for Mikko Suokas, who finished 5th in the season-opener, battling for P4 right until the checkered flag! Team-mate Guillermo Prieto was also doing a very strong race, after setting the quickest time in Pre-Qualifying and later qualifying in a fantastic 3rd place, until he lost control of his car in Turn 12, ending his race. Despite Guillermo's DNF, it was a solid first race of the FSR Ace season for FTS, with both cars in the Top 10 in Qualifying and showing very strong race pace at Melbourne.
