Round Review

Marcel and Norbert shine on debuts as FTS returns to victory!

In the World Championship, Marcel van der Linden had a great FTS debut, making perfect use of his strategy to claim 6th place with a fantastic final stint on soft tyres! Marcel secured the team's first 8 WC points of the season.
Patrick De Wit had a good race but ran into trouble due to tyre degradation and ended up being taken out by Keithley in an unfortunate incident. After long repairs, he finished in 16th place.

In the Ace division, Norbert Leitner and Thomas Mundy finished the feature race in 8th and 11th places respectively, delivering solid drives. In the sprint race, Norbert made the best out of the reversed grid to lead from start to finish, handling the pressure and the tyres to make the FTS-P14 a race winner on the first day of the season! Norbert has taken the team's first victory since 2009. Chapeau! Thomas Mundy finished in 11th place. The fantastic result left the team 3rd in the Constructors' Championship.

In the Pro division, Mikko Suokas delivered a strong recovery race to finish 9th on his FTS debut. Guglielmo Matti suffered technical issues which compromised his race, but he still managed to cross the line in 13th on his first FSR race.
